Meet The Chefs

Being in the restaurant trade for several years, you come to a point where you want to live your dream and passion. In our case, obviously, having our own restaurant.

So the journey of finding one began in December 2008. We looked all over South Africa, but just didn’t find what we wanted.

In March 2009 we decided that the search is off; we will do our own thing and Piz-zazze Restaurant was opened on the 9th of April 2009.

After several months we decided to move over to a bigger and better venue at Fern Tree Lodge and also to change our name to 1 On Main Restaurant.

Piz-zazze just caused to much confusion about Pizza’s (keeping in mind, Piz-zazze is a French word meaning style and glamour) and we love Pizza’s to eat, not to make!!!

So, 1 On Main Restaurant was born on the 1st of August 2009.

We specialize in good food, quality service and just the best wines in South Africa. With us being the chef’s, makes it just a bit easier to serve every plate with style and passion.

Our aim is to put as much personal touch as we can into every dish, not just to look good, but to taste scrumptious.

With almost 28 years of combined experience, we will go out of our way to satisfy our guests…
